Student Success Tracker Overview

The Student Success Tracker enables your department to monitor student progress and determine which students qualify for a Concentration, Concentration with Distinction, or departmental awards.

Navigating the Tracker

The Term and Year selector is located at the top of every page of the Success Tracker.
Choose a term and year to refresh all data throughout the site.

What you can do?

Success Tracker

  • View total enrollment in your courses for the selected term and year.
  • See counts of students in AP courses and those who have already earned a Concentration.
  • Review a complete list of departmental courses and enrolled students.

Student Report

  • Search for any student who has taken your courses.
  • Update Concentration status, edit grades, and add notes.
  • Reference Concentration requirements alongside each record.

Concentration Report

  • Filter by graduation year.
  • See every student who has taken departmental classes, how many courses they completed, and their current Concentration status.

Tip: All tables are sortable—click a column heading to reorder the data.

By using these tools, your department can make informed decisions about Concentrations and year-end awards with confidence and ease.

Student Report

The Student Report page lets you quickly locate a student, review or update their record, adjust Concentration status, and document notes—making it an ideal tool for tracking achievements and preparing for departmental award decisions.

How to use the Student Report

  1. Search for a student

    • Start typing the student’s name in the search bar and click Submit.

    • The student’s profile appears, showing graduation year, class standing, and current Concentration status. You may update the Concentration status directly.

    • The Concentration requirements are displayed alongside each student’s profile for convenient reference.

  2. Review course history

    • A sortable table lists each course the student has taken in your department, including instructor, ending school year (e.g., the 2025-2026 year displays as 2026), term, grade, and Concentration eligibility.

    • Click Edit in any row to update the grade or Concentration eligibility option. NOTE: Grades will automatically be updated at the end of the semester.

    • Sort data by clicking any column heading.

  3. Add or manage notes

    • Click Add Note to record separate comments or accomplishments.

    • Existing notes can be edited or deleted at any time.

    • Only teachers within your department can view the Notes you write.

Tip: To view student records for different academic periods, adjust the Term and Year selectors at the top of the page.

With these powerful tools at your fingertips, the Student Report makes it easier than ever to recognize student success and celebrate academic achievement across your department!

Concentration Report

The Concentration Report lets you instantly see, by graduation year, every student who has taken courses in your department, along with the total number of departmental courses completed and each student’s current Concentration status.

How to use the Concentration Report

  1. Select a Graduation Year
    Use the Graduation Year drop-down at the top of the page and click Search.

  2. Review the results
    A sortable table appears, displaying:

    • Student name

    • Number of departmental courses completed

    • Current Concentration status

    Click any column heading to sort the list and quickly focus on the information that matters most.

Quickly identify high-achieving students and recognize their accomplishments with ease using the Concentration Report!

View Courses

Click the View Courses button on this page. The View Courses page displays every course offered by your department, using a clear color key:

  • Green  — Standard courses

  • Blue   — Directed Research (DR) courses

View Students

Click the View Students button on this page. The View Students page lists the courses you are teaching and the students enrolled, based on the Term and Year selections at the top of the screen.

  • Students enrolled in multiple sections of the same course are grouped under one course title.

  • Each student’s expected graduation year appears beside their name.

  • Current-term data is available after the drop/add period concludes.
